We’ve been entrepreneurs since 2009—

when we started Limelife Photography. Shortly afterwards we got married, and then spent a few years growing Limelife into a profitable endeavor—picking up dozens of strategies, tips, tricks, ‘must-do’s, and ‘never-again’s along the way. Somewhere along the way we started paying attention to how many people we came across who were unsatisfied with where they were in life and business; with how many people knew what they truly wanted to be doing, but had no plan for how to get there.

That’s how and why Idealust was born.

And through this business, we’ve been fortunate to create interactive ways to teach and guide other creatives towards the path of having a wildly successful business…and life. (Because we won’t budge on our philosophy that success takes hustle but also rest and fresh air.) A favorite mantra of ours is “done is better than perfect,” and we are big on dropkicking fear whenever it tries keeping people from their calling.

We live in San Diego (and dress like it most of the time),

and we’ll soon be welcoming our first non-business baby to the family—we’re adopting a little girl from China. In no particular order we love: fresh air + saltwater, date days, singing to T-Swift, new places and people, waterfalls, and tacos. Becky’s strengths include empathy + encouragement, and the ability to think forward to the future and maximize opportunities and Jesse is a skilled problem solver and adept at understanding tech and how it can work for your business.
